MISSION STATEMENT. Tripoli Indiana educates non-professional rocketry hobbyists, advances rocketry related technology through research, and provides rocketry related service to the state and local community. In fulfilling its mission, Tripoli Indiana strives to:
- Provide a safe, friendly, and encouraging learning environment where children and adults are educated in proper design, construction, rules and safety procedures, and flight skills necessary to excel in low, mid or high power rocketry.
- Improve the practice of amateur rocketry through advanced research into alternative propellants, materials, designs, construction methods and techniques, and other aspects of rocketry.
- Provide service to the state and local community by increasing the awareness of and participation in amateur rocketry and by encouraging increased participation in the fields of science and mathematics.
VISION STATEMENT.Tripoli Indiana will be recognized as the premiere rocketry organization in the state of Indiana for the education of non-professional rocketry hobbyists; the advancement of the rocketry related technology through research; and the growth of amateur rocketry activities through service to the state and local community.
